License & Ratings: ATP, CFI
Marvin is a dedicated instructor who started flying in 1968 and had his Commercial and CFI ratings by 1971. He spent most of his career as a corporate pilot and an instructor in King Airs and Citations at CAE SimuFlite for 19 years. Marvin has accumulated over 4,000 hours of in aircraft instruction and over 6,000 hours in King Airs.
Marvin’s goal at Rich Aviation Services is for each pilot to receive the highest quality of instruction, both in classroom and flight/simulator, so that they leave a more knowledgeable and safety-conscious pilot.
Hank Kumpunen
License & Ratings: ATP, Gold Seal CFI, Ground Instructor
Hank has spent his entire career working in aviation. He has worked as an engineer for aircraft manufacturers, NASA, and simulator manufacturers. He was the project engineer in charge of the design and development of the King Air 200 Simulator installed at CAE located at DFW. While involved in engineering work, he also instructed pilots in Private, Commercial, ATP and CFI courses. He has accumulated over 4000 hours of in-aircraft instruction and another 3500 hours of instruction in King Air Simulators while spending 17 years at CAE Simuflight and 3 years at Rich Aviation Services.
Hank has always emphasized safety and aircraft systems knowledge that a pilot needs to remain sage while operations the airplane. Hank always strives to ensure that all clients leave with more safety applicable knowledge than when they arrived at Rich Aviation Services.
