Training Courses

The FAA requires a minimum number of hours for each license or rating. You must have these hours (and specific training) before taking your final checkride. The reality is that everyone exceeds these hours quoted by the FAA. Why? Each student learns at his or her own pace. For example, one student may be able to fly solo with only 15 hours logged in an aircraft. The next student may not be able to handle this maneuver until he has well over 25 or more hours.

The following is the course description and minimum hours required for each course. Please note, additional costs include: approximately 1.5 hours flight for each checkride needed, examiner checkride fees, pilot kit, charts, written exam and renters Insurance.

Location, staff, environment all superb. I love training and education particularly in aviation. I wish it was feasible to do short courses all year round.
